Description
SSRO (Jacob Gerritsen, Terri Smoot, et al.) had a problem where their camera taked 40 seconds to download a flat image. This caused the process to fall behind with the normal/default ADU accelerations. In order to make it work, the accelerations had to be large. But then during the testing phase, the accelerations were way too large and the exposures stayed ahead of the changing brightness and never even started taking flats!

Using the same accelerations for test and final flats is a bug. The tests are going to be fast no matter what, so probably should just use an internal 0.95/1.05 number or something like that. Once it starts taking the final flats, shift gears and use the accelerations from AutoFlatConfig.

Attached is an example.

Check-in comment Handle very slow downloading cameras for sky flats (test using 0.9/1.05 acceleration but use config for real flats). GEM:1110
