Description

See the tail end of this Comm Center thread by Eric Dose. Add additional polynomial terms for distortion to the FITS info on solving. and maybe provide a SIP conversion feature for older images.See More Flexibility in Representing Geometric Distortion in Astronomical Images and the SIP info. It is not clear whether SIP is the right way to go.
