I don't know why OCH suppresses the 000 for wind direction, but since SkyAlert does not have a direction sensor, it is a SWkyAlert bug that it reports a legal direction (it is a lie, SkyAlert doen's know the wind direction). Closing this now. |

See these posts on the Comm Center from Yves Laroche and Travis Deyoe. Something is weird with the wind direction when it is not coming from the OC provider. Deyoe reports OK otherwise. I believe that SkyAlert is returning 000 for wind direction when it doesn't actually have that info. That would be a SkyAlert bug. |

This derived from this SkyAlert thread from Yves Laroche, and this Comm Center thread by George Silvis and others. I have decided to use iSafetyMonitor as safe/unsafe since at least one customer has "safety hub" that includes AC power monitoring... and who knows what else might go into that decision. Doing my own UI for determining safe/unsave would be too limiting and also put a big responsibility for all sorts of things into my areas. |
