Asteroid setup temp designation prefix could be made empty, causing the designation to be numeric but passed as a string. This triggers a consistency exception in the engine (by design). Fix was to prevent the temp desig. from being empty in the UI.

The auto-redraw problem cannot be fixed. The designation one is a bit mysterious and I'll look at it. It should be generating a 7-character temp designation. Maybe he had a 0 in the prefix field of VPP?
