Description
The Observation editor page really needs to support Major/Minor Planets and Comets by Name/Number/Desig and Orbital Elements like the Desktop Schedule Browser.

ALSO: Improve responsiveness with element dimming and hiding using JQuery. Don't try to replace Prototype code though, as we're almost at the 8.2 release.

Check-in comment Web schedule browser's Observation editor now supports solar system type targets, with an ID checker button. Also form is more responsive. GEM:1661

Forget jQuery... I can't get the jQuery.noConflict() thing to work. Just use hard hide/show calls in Prototype.
