See this Comm Center thread. Check to see that the telemetry on which ACP bases the "didn't flip" decision isn't somehow wrong due to a timing hole in ACP.

I have double checked this, and there is no hole. After a slew, the SideOfPier is read for sure as soon as the driver's SLewing goes False, and before the call to Slewing() in ACP's corrected telescope object returns. 100% certain there is no hole.

Found, a poll timer on SideOfPier. Need to review all of the driver calls. Close this one for sure.

Todd Benko did an excellent test with the latest AP driver and it looks like the driver is working correctly. This needs more analysis. Sick solution would be to skip the test if the driver doesn't support SetPierSide... but this is just wrong. I really need to figure out exactly what's going on with the AP.
