See the tail end of this Comm Center thread by Rob Capon. Saved profiles from earlier versions of ACP could be incompatible with later versions. How to manage this? It could range all the way from simply running the new versions installer on each profile when it is active, to a separate application that runs at install time and which upgrades the profiles in place. That may be over the top!

Consider things like AutoFlatConfig which changed significantly with the panel flats. How would you "upgrade" old AutoFlatConflgs???
