See this Comm Center thread by Dean Salman and Albert Barr. Albert's Lodestar camera has a couple of flaws that are "hot stars" with an area of 30-ish square pixels. If there isn't a very bright "real" bright guide star, ACP's selection will grab onto this and use it. It acts like a hot pixel.
Add a "minimum star area" filter to the SetupGuider logic. See the attached screen shot of what I did to his AcquireSupport. Make this a parameter in AcquireSupport and leave it at zero by default. Or maybe call it Hot Spot Rejection? or ???
