Per Steve Brady, FocusMax has a property FocusControl.FocusMaxIsLoaded which can be used to synchronize startup of FocusMax as opposed to the 5 second wait. And by the way, the 5 seconds should be 15 seconds also. Use that property in AcquireSupport's Starting FocusMax logic, but fall back to the timer if that property is not supported by the version of FocusMax installed. He did not know when it was introduced.
