The RCOS TCS (Azari) and the ASA Autoslew TCS throw errors when asked for the CanSetPierSide property. This is a required property per the ASCOM spec. However, it is unlikely that the RCOS controller will be fixed (obsolete). Since this was not a problem with ACP versions prior to HotFix 3, I'm going to make an exception to my rule and trap errors on those initial properties and default them instead of refusing to connect due to error.
