Several problems with the MaxIm DL installer and PinPoint, one dating back several years, have highlighted the need for DC-3 Dreams to control PinPoint installation within the MaxIm DL installer. In order to accommodate this, it was decided that DC-3 Dreams should take responsibility for PinPoint (LE) installation by producing an MSI merge module for it.
