See this Comm Center post, part of a multi-topic thread on Scheduler control. This could be done by writing a little sky condition server that itself is scriptable. This would avoid having to make the innards of Scheduler scriptable. There are other possible approaches, of course, but this one comes to mind as simple and reliable.
