The new logic in FindBrightStar, which searches mags 0-11 then post filters for mag, is too slow. This will require a change in PinPoint itself so that mag limits can be based on something other than the synthesized Visual mag. Alternatively revert to the old way of directly using the mag limits and taking the occasional "bad star", maybe adding it to the bad star list instead?
