See this Comm Center thread by Jeff Kelly. I have more-or-less ignored this for years. PinPoint really struggles solving one-shot color images due to the Bayer Matrix. If you do a Document.ExtractBayerPlane(1) (or any of the planes who cares?) the result is a perfectly good image that PinPoint can solve right away. Not that the extracted image will be half the size of the original, like it is binned double the real binning. And what about the positions of the objects. What is the meaning of the WCS?
